EIS-AFRICA MEMBER BENEFITS: 

• Members will receive all EIS-AFRICA publications free of charge;
• Members will be able to vote for the Board of Directors;
• Membes are eligible for nomination to the Board of Directors;
• Receive substantial discounts on publications, proceedings, and a discount on registration at AFRICAGIS (the premier Africa-wide conference on GIS organized every two years);
• Depending on funds available, members will be prioritised for sponsorship to conferences and workshops;
• Registration on the EIS-AFRICA member database;
• Members will be able to market their services on a searchable online database;
• Members will be prioritised for any consulting work won by EIS-AFRICA;
• Members will be able to advertise any vacancies on the EIS-AFRICA website;
• Enjoy enhanced networking opportunities with EIS professionals throughout the continent, in particular the involvement in the implementation of its General Program;
• Members will get a unique user name and password for access to the EIS-AFRICA member site; and
• Receive a Certificate of Membership.

CONDITIONS

• Members must agree to support the mission and goals of the organization;
• pay annual dues;
• and participate in the network.

• Individual members: US$20 per year;
• Institutional members: US$100 per year (for commercial organisations)
• Non-profit institutions: US$40 per year. (Universities, NGOs etc.)

Opportunities to sponsor EIS-AFRICA activities exist. These include the following :
• Advertising in the newsletter;
• Support for AFRICAGIS and other events; and
• Direct contributions to sustain the work of the organization.
